How can we help?

Integrate with TaxTaker

TaxTaker is an end-to-end solution for startups who want to apply for and secure Federal and State Research & Development tax credits–capture the maximum funding available to you every year.

Gusto integrates with TaxTaker to push employee and contractor wages to TaxTaker so they can easily do the analysis needed to obtain maximum credits.

Customers who join Gusto from TaxTaker will receive Gusto free for their first 3 months.

Troubleshoot syncing issues

The imported Box 1 wages seem incorrect

  • TaxTaker calculates Box 1 W-2 wage amounts for each of the employees by subtracting pre-tax benefits from yearly gross wages. Contact TaxTaker directly if there are discrepancies between the imported wage amounts and the ones displayed on your employees’ Form W-2.

No ability to import Gusto records

  • Ensure you have administrator privileges in Gusto. Payroll information is only accessible if pulled from an admin Gusto account.

Disconnect your Gusto account

  1. Sign in to TaxTaker.
  2. Click the dropdown next to your name in the top-right.
  3. Click Account settings.
  4. Under the “Gusto Integration” headline, click on Disconnect Gusto to remove authorization and disconnect the integration.
