Set up Boomr

Connect your Gusto account to Boomr and sync your time tracking information with payroll. 

Step 1. Link your Gusto account

  1. In your Boomr account, click your profile located in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Integrations.
  3. Next to Gusto, click Connect.
  4. Enter your Gusto login credentials.
  5. Click Authorize.

Once authorized, an initial sync will pull in pay schedule information, overtime settings, and employee data.

Step 2. Match your employees

  1. Click the new Gusto tab.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Match the employees seen in Gusto to the correct employees seen in Boomr.
  4. For employees seen in Gusto but not seen in Boomr, do one of the following:
    • Select Add this employee to create them in Boomr.
    • Select Ignore to not create them in Boomr.
  5. Click Save.

Once you've approved employee hours for the pay period, export the time sheets to your Gusto account. See this Boomr guide for further instructions.

Note: Boomr does not currently calculate PTO. Please do this directly in Gusto.
