As your insurance broker, Gusto can help you build a benefits package, run open enrollment for your team every year, automate your payroll deductions, and manage your team's benefit enrollments and terminations.
When you transfer your broker of record to Gusto, we notify your insurance carriers that Gusto will be managing your company's benefits moving forward. Your employees won't experience any changes during this time and can continue using their current benefits. After the transfer is complete, your team's pre-tax deductions are automatically integrated with payroll, and you and your employees can view and manage benefits directly in Gusto.
Your company's eligible to transfer benefits to Gusto if your insurance plan's renewal date is at least 3 months away. Once your renewal date has passed, you can transfer your benefits immediately.
Step 1: Gather your company's policy info

Here are a few places you can look for your company's policy ID number.

We'll keep you updated on your account's status as we work with your insurance carriers on moving your benefit information. Transferring your benefits to Gusto typically takes 6–8 weeks.
