Reactivate your Gusto account

If you canceled your company Gusto account, you may be able to reactivate it and continue processing payroll.

Reactivate your company's Gusto account

Follow the steps below to start the reactivation process: 

  1. Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
  2. From the Home page, click Reactivate Account.
  3. Select your next check date with Gusto.
  4. Select if you have run a payroll with another provider.
  5. Check the box if you understand.
  6. Click Submit.
    • Make sure to complete any outstanding dashboard to-do items prior to submitting.

We'll reach out to you within two business days to let you know if your account is eligible to be reactivated. In the meantime, complete the account reactivation checklist below.
