Add notes to a team member’s profile (for admins)

This article is for admins with the right permissions to add notes to team member profiles.

Use profile notes to track important information. These notes are only visible to the other admins on your Gusto account.

To add a note to a team member’s profile:

  1. Sign in to Gusto.

  2. Go to People.

  3. Click your team member’s name.

  4. Under Additional, click Notes.

  5. Click Add note.

  6. Type your note into the field.

  7. Click Save.

We record the note with a time and date stamp. To edit or delete a note, hover over it and click Edit or Delete.

Q: Can I add a document to the Notes section?

A: No, you cannot add a document to the Notes section.
