Team Insights surveys: How they work and how to use them (for admins)

If you're on Gusto’s Plus or Premium plan, you can use Team Insights to see how your employees feel about work. Admins can turn this feature on or off at any time, or upgrade to get access.

When Team Insights is on, Gusto will email a short survey to your employees' work email once a month. These surveys ask questions about teamwork, morale, management, and more.

What is the employee happiness question?

“I would recommend [Your Company Name] as a great place to work.”

This question helps you track overall employee happiness—kind of like a work Net Promoter Score.

Employees choose from five answers (strongly disagree to strongly agree). They can also leave comments. These answers cannot be exported, and you can not remove this question from the survey.
