Integrate with Trainual

With Trainual, you can easily document every step-by-step process, policy, and operating procedure for your business in one place to make onboarding and training simple as you scale.

Gusto integrates with Trainual to help automate the administrative process by importing employee profiles from Gusto into Trainual.

Customers who join Gusto from Trainual will receive Gusto payroll free for their first 3 months.

Employee details that will sync from Gusto to Trainual include:

First name
Last name
Job title
- This is not the same as, and will not replace or override, Trainual’s role designation for an employee in their platform.

Connect to Gusto from Trainual

Sign in to Trainual.
Click Settings.
Click Integrations.
Select Learn More from the Gusto tile.
Click Connect Your Gusto Account or Try Gusto Free for 3 months.

You’ll then be directed to your Users page in Trainual to begin the import.

Import users to Trainual from Gusto

The sync of information from Gusto to Trainual is a one-time sync; employee details edited in Gusto will not dynamically update in Trainual.

Sign in to Trainual.
Navigate to your Users page.
Click the Add User drop-down.
Select Gusto User Import.
If you have not already connected, click Connect Your Gusto Account.
View the list of users not yet imported from Gusto to Trainual.
- Previously imported users can be viewed from the drop-down below.
Select the checkbox if you’d like to invite the newly imported users to Trainual.
Click Import or Import & Invite.

After you’ve synced a user from Gusto to Trainual, for any updates to an employee’s details we recommend making them directly in Trainual, then verifying the details match in Gusto.
