Autobooks provides a simple, yet automated approach to small business banking. Their solution makes accounting and payments easy to understand, which helps small businesses in their day-to-day, giving them more time to do what they do best.
Gusto integrates with Autobooks to make the integration of payroll entries into your financial statements easy.
Customers who join Gusto from Autobooks will receive Gusto free for their first 3 months.
Click the Connected Apps tab.
Click Sign Up for a Gusto account if you do not yet have one. If you already have a Gusto account, skip to step 4.
You'll be redirected to Gusto to complete the setup of your account - after you register for your Gusto account return the Connected Apps tab in Autobooks and click the Activate account button to finish the sign up process.
If you already have a Gusto account, click Activate account to start pulling in payroll entries.
You'll be redirected to Gusto where you'll be asked to grant access to Autobooks.
Autobooks will only have access to pull in your payroll journal entries.
Autobooks will not have access to make any changes to your payroll, configuration, or data in Gusto.
Once you've run payroll in Gusto, the following morning you should see the payroll entries reflected on your bill payments report, your journal report, and on your financial statements in Autobooks. Autobooks looks for new payroll runs on a nightly basis.
Click Pay Bills.
Click Bill Pay.
All employee checks/direct deposits related to payroll will show in the bill pay report labeled Payroll.
Click the Bill Payment link in any row to view the employees' name associated with the payroll check/direct deposit.
Click on Reports.
All payroll journal entries will include Payroll as the description. An example of a journal entry and related detail can be found below.
