If you need to change your name on your Gusto IRA, you need to provide documentation to verify the request. You cannot make this change in your dashboard for security reasons.
You need to provide:
An up-to-date color copy of a government-issued ID (a driver's license or state ID card is preferred, but a passport is also acceptable).
If you were recently married and your ID has not yet been updated, a copy of your marriage certificate.
To submit your documents and request the update, follow these steps:
Sign in to your dashboard via the Gusto Retirement sign-in page.
Go to Documents from the main menu, then select the Shared files tab.
Upload your documents.
Contact our Retirement Participant Support Team to let us know you shared the required information and would like to update your name. To help speed up your request, include your date of birth and IRA account ID for verification purposes.
