We care about the privacy of our users and website visitors. You can opt out of the sale of your personal information directly from the Gusto Retirement website. This article walks you through how to opt out and how to troubleshoot common issues with the privacy settings link.
To opt out, follow these steps.
Go to the main Gusto Retirement website and scroll to the footer at the bottom of any page.
Select Your Privacy Choices.
In the pop-up menu, toggle Advertising cookies to allow or disable use of those cookies.
Select Confirm my choices to save your preferences.
Note: The Your Privacy Choices link opens a pop-up on the same page — it does not open a new page. The pop-up also includes a web form to opt out of non-cookie-based sharing of your personal information for advertising purposes.
If selecting the Your Privacy Choices link does not open a pop-up window, your web browser’s cookie preferences may be causing the issue. For example, your browser may already have all cookies disabled or may block Google Tag Manager.
Keep in mind that Your Privacy Choices opens a pop-up on the same page. It does not work like our other links — like the Privacy Policy — which open a new page.
If you do not see the Your Privacy Choices link, try these steps.
Confirm you are on the main Gusto Retirement website. This link is not available on payroll or Help Center pages.
Hard refresh your browser:
Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R
Windows: Press Ctrl + F5
Go to a page on our site you have not visited before or have not visited recently.
If you still do not see the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer, your browser may have an ad blocker enabled or may already be set up to block all cookies and Google Tag Manager.
