Once an admin has added you as a non-US contractor in Gusto, you’ll need to set up a Gusto profile before you can be paid. Contractors based outside the US are required to:

After an admin has added you as a non-US contractor, we'll use the information you enter while setting up your Gusto account to autofill the required Form W-8 BEN(E) with your information.
Important
Make sure all information you use to set up your Gusto profile is 100% accurate—once it's used on official forms, it's more difficult to edit or update.
Payroll administrators at the company can now pay you in Gusto. On paydays, you’ll receive a payday email from Gusto.
To stay compliant, you're required to fill out either a Form W-8 BEN or Form W-8 BEN(E). If you need help completing it, we recommend working with a tax advisor—we cannot advise.
Businesses are required to complete and submit Form W-8 BEN E—we'll generate it for you when you enter your details in Gusto.
Consult a legal or tax advisor and complete the appropriate section based on your entity type.
Sign, print, and date the form.
If you need to update bank account information, and cannot do so on your own in your Gusto account, contact your employer.
Reminder: If Gusto receives a bank error while attempting to pay you, we'll send you a request to update the bank account information directly. The most common pieces of information that need updating are:
If you need to be paid to the new bank account, work with your employer to get the necessary payment(s) scheduled (or rescheduled).
