Integrate with ChartHop

ChartHop is an organization management platform that acts as a hub for your company’s people-data. Sync up your existing people systems and get a single, dynamic, always-up-to-date view of all your people, without the manual work.

Gusto integrates with ChartHop to fuel the three main components of ChartHop’s system - Visualization, Planning and Reporting.

Customers who join Gusto from ChartHop will receive Gusto free for their first 3 months.

Set up the Gusto < > ChartHop integration

  1. Sign in to ChartHop.

  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select Apps and Integrations.

  4. Scroll down to the “Available Apps” section and click Install next to Gusto.

  5. Click Install App

  6. For existing Gusto users, click Authorize App to open a new tab and sign in to your Gusto account.

    • If you don't already have a Gusto account, click on Sign Up With Gusto, and complete the steps to register a new Gusto account.

  7. Sign in to Gusto with your Gusto credentials, and click Authorize.

    • You’ll be redirected back to ChartHop.

  8. Customize your settings–options include:

    • A daily sync

    • Notification emails when syncs occur

    • Removal of certain employees from the sync

      • Copy and paste the employee’s Gusto ID found in the data sheet view (in ChartHop) if you wish not to sync an employee’s information.

    • Specific information you’d like to sync:

      • Job title

      • Manager

      • Group/department

      • Compensation

      • Dismissals/departures - for backfilling

      • Hire date

  9. Your first time connecting, click Sync to Primary.

Your ChartHop and Gusto accounts are now connected–visualize your organization in the ChartHop Org Chart, plan for the future using ChartHop Scenarios, and build robust reports using ChartHop People Analytics.

The sync will run daily, but if you need to update ChartHop right away after a change in Gusto, you can manually sync from the Apps & Integrations page.
