Bookkeeper360's people analytics combines accounting and payroll data to deliver real-time information to business owners. Get stats about average revenue, net income by headcount, fully loaded department costs, and more.
Gusto integrates with Bookkeeper360 to sync employee and compensation data directly from Gusto to Bookkeeper’s analytics tools.
Customers who join Gusto from Bookkeeper360 will receive Gusto payroll free for their first 3 months.
Set up the Gusto and Bookkeeper360 integration

Sign in to Bookkeeper360.
- From the left-menu, click the lowercase “g” (the Gusto logo).
- If you’re an existing Gusto user, click Connect. If you’d like to set up a Gusto account, click Learn More.
- Click Connect again to start the setup process.
- Enter your Gusto sign-in credentials and click Sign In.
- Select the company(ies) you’d like to authorize and click Authorize.
- You’ll be redirected back to the Integrations page in Bookkeeper360.
- Select a company name from the dropdown in the Gusto card and click Confirm.
- Only one Gusto account can be linked to each Bookkeeper360 account.
Once connected, Gusto will sync information to Bookkeeper360 every hour. Head to the People Analytics page and use the filters to review information about your team, which includes:
- An expense breakdown
- A breakdown of costs that go into monthly payroll (ie. wages and salary, employer taxes, benefits, reimbursements, etc)
- A department summary
- Fully loaded costs by department
- A department analysis
- Headcount by month
- Revenue by month
- Net income by month
