Some states ask you for our agent details so they can give us Third-Party Access (TPA) when needed.

Before you use our general agent details

Important: Check your state’s rules first. Some states have special steps for setting up TPA.

To check if a state agency has special steps for TPA:

Go to the State tax registration and resources in our Help Center.
Find and click your state’s article titled “[State] registration and tax info”.
Open the dropdown called "Giving Gusto TPA" or "How to authorize Gusto with [State] agencies".
If more than one agency is listed, choose the one that applies to you.

If your state agency does not include special TPA steps, and TPA is required, use the general info below.
