Employees can connect to Truework and make employment and income verification easier than ever. Truework is available to all employees with a Gusto account and does not require employer setup, participation or approval.
Truework is a free service for employees and employers–the verification fee is paid by the lender/verifier.
When you apply for a loan, job or an apartment, a verifier (such as a bank or landlord) may submit a request for employment and/or income information. Once connected to Truework, you'll get an email when a verifier requests your employment information. You’ll then be able to approve or deny the request to share your information.
You can proactively authorize Truework or wait for a verifier to initiate a request.

Q: How should my employer respond if they receive an employee verification request directly from a verifier?
A: Have them direct the verifier to "Start a Verification" on www.truework.com. Once the verifier has initiated a request in Truework, you’ll get an email for approval or denial.
