Reach Reporting is a financial reporting solution that helps financial professionals create reports to gain insights into business performance, balance sheets, cash flows and more.
When you set up the Gusto and Reach Reporting integration, Gusto data automatically syncs to Reach to combine with your bookkeeping data. The integration allows you to more easily create reports, including live dashboards that automatically update with your monthly metrics. Personal employee information (e.g. SSN and date of birth) does not sync to Reach.
Customers who join Gusto from Reach Reporting will receive Gusto payroll free for their first 3 months.
You can connect an existing company or add a new company to your Reach workspace. You must have admin permissions for each Gusto account you wish to connect.
Follow these steps for any company you haven’t yet added to your Reach workspace. This will both add the company to Reach and connect the account to its Gusto profile for daily data syncing. If the company doesn’t have a Gusto account yet, you’ll have the option to create one in step 4.
Go to the folder that you’d like the new company to be listed under.
Click Add Company.
Click Connect to Gusto.
If the company doesn’t yet have a Gusto account: click Click here to create a Gusto account and complete your onboarding in Gusto. Then return to Reach Reporting to resume integrating your accounts.
Enter your Gusto admin credentials and click Sign in.
Select the account(s) you’d like to add to Reach and click Authorize.
The Gusto and Reach Reporting accounts for the company are connected. The initial data sync will start immediately and may take a few minutes, then you can start running reports with the data. Automatic syncs will run nightly at 12am MT.
Follow these steps for any company that’s already listed in your Reach workspace. This will connect the account to its Gusto profile for daily data syncing. If the company doesn’t have a Gusto account yet, you’ll have the option to create one in step 5.
Navigate to the company you’re connecting to Gusto and click on its name.
Click Company Settings.
Go to the Integrations tab.
Click Connect to Gusto.
If the company doesn’t yet have a Gusto account: click Click here to create a Gusto account and complete your onboarding in Gusto. Then return to Reach Reporting to resume integrating your accounts.
Enter your Gusto admin credentials and click Sign in.
Click Authorize.
The Gusto and Reach Reporting accounts for the company are connected. The initial data sync will start immediately and may take a few minutes, then you can start running reports with the data. Automatic syncs will run nightly at 12am MT.
Automatic syncs run nightly at 12am MT, but you can also run a manual sync anytime to update your data sooner.
Navigate to the company you want to update data for and go to its Reports section.
In the bottom left corner of your screen, click the sync icon.
Click Sync Gusto.
If you no longer want Gusto to send data for a company, follow the below steps to disconnect the integration. This will also delete any dashboards or reports sourced from Gusto data.
Navigate to the company you’re connecting to Gusto and click on its name.
Click Company Settings.
Go to the Integrations tab.
Click Disconnect.
If you want to reconnect the integration for this company later, you can do so by following the steps in the “Connect to Gusto from Reach Reporting” accordion of this article again.
