Integrate with Lever

Lever is a leading talent acquisition suite that offers end-to-end sourcing, hiring, and talent engagement for your company. 

With the Gusto and Lever integration, you can import candidates and send offer letters from Gusto, or add them to your team directly as employees or contractors.

Candidate info that Gusto imports from Lever: 

• First name
• Last name
• Email
• Phone 

Connect to Lever from Gusto 

1. Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
2. Go to the App Directory section.
3. Under “Categories,” click Hiring.
4. Click Lever.
5. Click Connect.
6. Enter your Lever credentials and click Continue.
7. Click Accept. 

Import candidates to Gusto

When you’re ready to add a candidate to Gusto from Lever, follow these steps. 

1. Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
2. Go to the Hiring section. 
3. Click Hire a new person.
4. Click Import.
5. Under “Search for an individual,” type the name of the candidate you’re bringing on.
6. Click on their name.
7. Select whether you’d like to add them as an employee or a contractor.
   • For customers on the Plus or Premium plan: indicate whether you want to send an offer letter.
8. Click Continue.
9. Fill out any remaining info for the new hire. Lever pre-populates some of this for you.
   • If you want to finish onboarding later, you can find them in the Team members section, under Onboarding.
10. Click Save & continue.

All that’s left is to add your new employee to payroll.
