This article is for admins who want to connect Gusto to Xendoo.
Xendoo is an online bookkeeping and tax service that offers monthly financial reports, tax filings, and a dedicated accounting team for your business.
Connect your Gusto and Xendoo accounts to track payroll trends, compare payroll to revenue, or check your next payroll date.
Admins can connect their company’s Gusto and Xendoo accounts from within Xendoo. If you’re new to Gusto, you can create an account during this process.
To connect your company’s Gusto and Xendoo accounts:
In the left sidebar, go to Integrations.
In the Gusto panel, click Learn more.
If you have a Gusto account, click Connect Your Existing Account. If you’re new to Gusto: Click Create Your Account and follow the steps below.
Verify your company name and Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) and click Create Account.
Click Complete Account Creation.
Click Create with Email.
Go to your email inbox and click the link in the email from Gusto.
Choose your Gusto password, then set up your account.
Return to Step 2 to finish authorizing Xendoo to access your Gusto payroll data.
Confirm your company’s Employer Identification Number (EIN) and click Connect.
Enter your Gusto sign-in credentials.
Select the Gusto company you’d like to authorize Xendoo to access.
You can connect more than one Gusto company to your Xendoo account. Once you finish connecting the first account, go to your other account(s) in Xendoo and repeat the steps above.
Click Authorize.
Your Gusto portal is now connected, and your payroll data will begin syncing to Xendoo in seconds. If the Xendoo payroll chart does not update right away, wait about a minute, then refresh your page. After the initial sync, payroll data is updated nightly at 11pm ET.
You can disconnect your Gusto and Xendoo accounts at any time.
To disconnect:
In the left sidebar, go to Integrations.
In the Gusto panel, click the three dots in the upper-right corner.
Click Disconnect.
Xendoo will no longer store or access your Gusto payroll data.
Q: Why isn’t my payroll data correct?
A: Xendoo updates payroll data nightly at 11 pm ET. If you recently processed or changed a payroll, manually refresh the chart in Xendoo by clicking the refresh icon.
Q: Why isn’t there a “Next payroll” date in the chart?
A: Your next payroll date comes from the next unprocessed payroll scheduled in Gusto. If you do not have any unprocessed payrolls in Gusto, no date will display.
Q: How does Xendoo handle my data?
A: Xendoo never sells your data. Xendoo uses your data only to analyze and display insights in your portal.
