Gusto's Bill Pay powered by Melio is designed to streamline your business's payment processes, giving you more control over cash flow and saving you valuable time. With this feature, you can manage all your bill payments directly within the Gusto platform, eliminating the need for multiple tools.

How to use Gusto's Bill Pay

Set up Bill Pay 

Bill Pay can be set up by a Global or Primary Admin in Gusto. Here’s how:

  1. Sign in to your Gusto admin account.
  2. Go to the Pay tab and choose Pay bills.
  3. Select Get Started to set up Melio and begin using the feature.
  4. Click Continue.

Pay bills

Now you can start paying bills right from Gusto. Go to the Bills tab to create or import bills to pay. You'll have the option to import a bill by uploading it or syncing from QuickBooks or Xero. You can also forward your bill to your unique forwarding address, or use Gmail integration.

Once a payment is scheduled, it’s added to the Payments tab. 

Refer to Melio’s Help Center or visit the Settings section within Bill Pay for help with this feature, such as adding or automating bills, integrating with your accounting software, managing your bill pay settings, and more.

For any questions or issues relating to your Bill Pay, contact Melio directly from within your Gusto account by following the steps below.

Melio support hours of operation: Monday–Friday 9am–8pm ET (excluding bank holidays).

Chat

Global and Primary admins can access Melio chat from their Gusto account:

  1. In Gusto, go to the Pay tab and select Pay bills.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Go to the Support tab.
  4. Under “Contact us,” select Start a chat.

A specialist will respond within 90 seconds.

Email

Full Access admins can create an email case from their Gusto account:

  1. In Gusto, go to the Pay tab and select Pay bills.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Go to the Support tab.
  4. Under “Contact us,” select Help Center.
  5. Select Still need help?.
  6. Fill in the required information and select Submit.
    • Make sure to enter the same email address that’s associated with your Gusto account.

A specialist will respond to your email within 12 business hours.
