Digits is an automated accounting and tax software for startups. With the Gusto and Digits integration, you can streamline your financial management with automated payroll bookkeeping and real-time insights. AI mapping makes the setup seamless, automatically syncing payroll data from Gusto and mapping it to your chart of accounts.
Syncing Gusto payroll to Digits enhances data accuracy, identifies payroll trends, and provides a comprehensive financial overview. Effortless transaction categorization and seamless collaboration with accountants further streamline your financial processes.
Here's how to set up the integration:
In the left navigation panel, click Connections.
Click All Connections.
Next to Gusto, select Connect.
Enter your Gusto admin credentials.
Click Authorize.
Confirm what company you want to link to Digits.
You’ll be redirected to Digits. Digits will automatically map to your chart of accounts.
Click Manage to review the mapping.
Payroll data will automatically sync to Digits.
Review payroll transactions
In Digits, you can view all Gusto payroll transactions in the Transactions tab. Here’s how:
In the left navigation panel, click Transactions.
Click Filter by Party on the left panel.
Select Gusto.
View all your Gusto payroll transactions across your chart of accounts.
To view transaction details, click on any transaction.
Review payroll transaction analytics and insights
In Digits, you can drill down into aggregated Gusto data with analytics, insights, and transactions. Here’s where to find analytics:
Near the top of the dashboard, click the search bar.
Search for Gusto.
Click the Gusto vendor to view the details page, with analytics, insights, and transactions.
Reconnect the integration
If the integration becomes disconnected, Digits will display a Disconnected status next to the Gusto connection. Follow these steps to reconnect:
In the left navigation panel, click Connections.
On the Gusto connection, click Fix.
Next to Connection Status, click the sync button.
Refresh the sync
If data does not update in Digits as expected, follow these steps to refresh the sync:
In the left navigation panel, click Connections.
Click Manage on your Gusto connection.
Click to re-authorize Gusto access.
If you no longer wish for data to sync from Gusto to Digits, follow the steps below to disconnect the integration.
In the left navigation panel, click Connections.
Click Refresh on your Gusto connection.
To the right of Delete Connection, click Delete.
Confirm deletion through the modal.
Pause the sync from Gusto to Digits
If you would like to pause the data sync from Gusto to Digits, follow the steps below. You can resume the sync anytime.
In the left navigation panel, click Connections.
Click Manage on your Gusto connection.
To the right of Pause Connection, click Pause.
You can resume the connection anytime.
