Integrate with Payfactors

Payfactors by Payscale is a compensation planning platform that helps HR teams make fair and competitive pay decisions. 

With the Gusto integration, you can automatically sync employee compensation data from Gusto into Payfactors—no manual data entry needed. This integration saves time, reduces errors, and keeps your compensation data up to date. Once the data is in Payfactors, you can use it for real-time benchmarking, analysis, and planning.

Here's what syncs from Gusto to Payfactors:

Connect to Gusto from Payfactors

The integration is available to Payfactors Pro and Advanced customers who use Gusto as their payroll provider. If you're not sure what your Payfactors plan is, contact your Payscale account representative.

You must be an admin in both Gusto and Payfactors to set up the integration. 

  1. Sign in to Payfactors.
  2. Click the Data Management tile.
  3. Choose Add a new connection.
  4. Click the Gusto tile.
  5. Enter your Gusto admin credentials.

Once the integration is connected, your employee compensation data will immediately sync to Gusto.

Troubleshooting syncing issues 

If the integration becomes disconnected, Payfactors will notify you. You can reconnect the integration by reentering your Gusto admin credentials in the Data Management section of your Payfactors account. 

If the integration is not syncing correctly, contact Payfactors support.

Disconnect the integration

Contact Payfactors to disconnect the integration.

  2. In the bottom-left corner under the “Tools” section, click Connect. 
  3. Click the Contact Support dropdown.
  4. Select Submit a Support Ticket.
  5. Fill out the form and click Submit.
