How can we help?

401(k) is a tax-deferred savings plan for retirement. Contributions are deducted from an employee's gross pay and put into a 401(k) account. The maximum contribution an employee under 50 can make in 2019 is $19,000. If the employee is over 50 they may make an additional catch up contribution of $6,000.

Note: You can get a 401(k) fully integrated with your Gusto account through our partner Guideline. Learn more here. Once you're set up with Guideline, you can make changes to contributions through your Guideline account. Reach out to them directly for more info.

You can add a self-managed 401(k) by adding the benefit in Gusto.
