Change your employee to direct deposit for future payrolls
If your employee is set up for a check payment method, they can change this to direct deposit directly from their own Gusto account. You can also make this adjustment for them using the following steps:
- Click the People tab.
- Click your employee’s name.
- Navigate to the Job & Pay section.
- In the Payment Methods section click Add Method.
- Enter the routing number, account number, account type, and display name.
- Click Save.
Your employee will now be paid through direct deposit whenever you run payroll.
You can add up to 5 bank accounts for direct deposit.
