Map your chart of accounts by departments
If you have an accounting integration, you can group your payroll information by department with your chart of accounts.
- Make sure you have the following already set up:
- You have an accounting integration with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, FreshBooks, or Xero.
- Department specific accounts have been created in the accounting software.
- Your employees/contractors are assigned to at least one department in Gusto.
These transactions will be exported by department to your accounting software account. Any employees or contractors not within the enabled department will roll up into the Default Account Mapping transactions.
