Map to your QuickBooks Desktop COGS account

Our accounting integration is set up to map with QuickBooks Desktop expense and liability accounts. If you need data synced to the QuickBooks Desktop cost of goods sold (COGS) account, you can do the following:

  1. First create a temporary expense account in QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Map to this temporary expense account in Gusto.
  3. Create a journal entry in QuickBooks Desktop to decrease the amount in the temporary expense account and increase the amount for COGS.
