Set up payroll reminders on a personal calendar

Every time the calendar is synced, payroll deadlines and pay dates will be refreshed and added to your personal calendar for the next two years as well as three months in the past.

Set up reminders

  1. Click the Dashboard tab 
  2. Under Reminders on the right-side of the page, click Add reminders to your calendar.
  3. Click which calendar your syncing to:
    • Google: Google Calendar will open in a new tab, and you will be prompted to add the calendar link to your calendar. Click Yes, add this calendar. Please see here for more details.
    • Outlook: You will be prompted to add the calendar link to your Outlook calendar. Click Subscribe. Please see here for more details.
    • iCal: You will be prompted to add the calendar link to your iCal calendar. Click Subscribe. Please see here for more details.

Once added, these payroll reminders will reside under the calendar name: Gusto Reminders. Syncing frequency depends on the settings in your iCal, Outlook, or Google Calendar account. 

Note: Some browsers may default to a particular calendar. If you are having trouble syncing your preferred calendar, copy the subscribe URL and import it manually inside the calendar app.
