This article is for admins on Gusto’s Plus or Premium plan who want to set up and manage Team Insights employee surveys.
You can use Team Insights to learn how your employees feel about work. Admins can turn this feature on or off at any time, or upgrade to get access.
When Team Insights is on, we email a short survey to your employees’ work email once a month. These surveys ask questions about teamwork, morale, management, and more.
Key details
Survey details and timing
Only US employees get the survey. Contractors do not.
You can choose which preset questions you want to ask, but you cannot write your own or change the order.
Each survey includes a question about employee happiness.
Survey topics change each month to keep things interesting and to give you time to act on the results. Focusing on one topic per month will encourage more thoughtful responses from your team and help everyone stay engaged.
We keep all survey answers anonymous.
We do not send reminders to employees about completing the survey after the initial email.
