Premium customers can access Priority support and HR services (powered by Mineral). Simple and Plus customers can purchase these features as paid add-ons.

The Premium plan includes both Priority support and HR services.
You can buy Priority support and HR services separately on the Simple or Plus plan:
Priority support: $30/month base + $3/per person (employees and contractors) per month
HR Resources: $50/month base + $5/per person (employees and contractors) per month
HR services access: Primary admins, Full Access admins, and HR and onboarding admins with HR Resources permission get portal access after you upgrade.
Priority support gives you faster access to skilled experts in Payroll and Benefits. You can ask questions about Gusto, from payroll runs to benefits setup, and get help quickly from our Customer support team.

To contact Priority support:
To contact us, sign in to your Gusto account and click the help icon
in the top-right corner of the page.
If you’re on the Premium plan, click the Premium button next to the Gusto logo after you sign in.
Tell us about your issue and follow the prompts to contact support.
If you get stuck using the AI assistant, ask to “speak with a human.”

A specialist will respond and guide you through the next steps.
HR services connect you with certified Mineral HR Experts and a large HR Resource Center, so that you can handle hiring, policies, and compliance with confidence.

Mineral HR Experts: Certified professionals who guide you on hiring, dismissing, employment compliance, HR best practices, and more
HR Resource Center: A self-serve library with job descriptions, HR and employment document templates, a salary comparison tool, and more
Compliance alerts: Law updates and alerts based on your team size and work locations
To access HR Resources:
Open HR Resources.
Follow the on-screen steps to enter the Mineral portal.
What happens next
You can search the HR library, download templates, and open a case with a Mineral HR Expert.
If you get stuck, try these steps (based on your issue):
Cannot find HR Resources: Confirm your admin role and that you have HR Resources permission.
Upgraded but still cannot access: Sign out and sign back in to Gusto. Contact Priority support if the issue continues. To contact us, click the help icon
in the top-right corner of the page.
On the Simple or Plus plan, and cannot find these features: Make sure the add-on is active, or upgrade to the Premium plan.
Q: If I upgrade today, can I speak to a Mineral HR Expert right away?
A: Yes. Primary admins, Full Access admins, and HR and onboarding admins with HR Resources permission get access to the portal immediately after you upgrade.
Q: Can I get a sample employee handbook before I upgrade?
A: No. The Smart Employee Handbook Creator creates handbooks and customizes them by location, employee count, and admin choices. Because of this, we cannot supply a single sample.
Q: I received a form from the state (unemployment, disability, etc.). Will Mineral HR Experts fill it out for me?
A: No. Mineral HR Experts provide advice and guidance. They do not complete forms on your company’s behalf.
