Integrate with talech

talech (part of U.S. Bank) is a cloud-based time tracking tool for small and medium businesses. talech is designed from the ground up to be a complementary extension to cloud-based payroll software.

With the Gusto and talech integration, employee names and emails automatically sync in either direction so you only have to make updates in one place. Time cards sync from talech to Gusto so you can run payroll more efficiently.

Connect to Gusto from talech

This integration is available on talech paid plans and all Gusto plans.

  1. Sign in to talech.
  2. In the left menu, go to Integrations.
  3. Click Gusto.
  4. Select Login with Gusto.
  5. Enter your Gusto admin credentials and click Sign In.
  6. Click Authorize to allow talech to sync Gusto data.

How syncing works and where to make updates

Automatic syncing is enabled by default.

With automatic syncing, here’s what syncs and when:

  • Employee personal information
    • Employee names, emails, and phone numbers sync from talech to Gusto every hour.
    • Employee names and emails also sync from Gusto to talech every hour.
    • This means that if someone’s name or email changes, you can make the update in either Gusto or talech. It will update in the other system after the next sync.
  • Time cards sync from talech to Gusto one day after a pay period has been completed. To review synced time card data in Gusto, go to the Pay section and navigate to the corresponding payroll.

You can run a manual sync anytime by following the steps below.

Manually sync timesheets to Gusto
