Gusto mobile app: Employer experience

With the Gusto mobile app (formerly Gusto Wallet), employers can now run payroll right from their mobile devices. 

The mobile app is available on iOS® and Android™ phones through the App Store® and Google Play® store.1

To set up the app, simply download it from either the App Store® and Google Play® store (depending on the type of phone you have) and sign in.

Employees can still track time, request time off, access tax documents, and more in the mobile app. 

Employer features in the mobile app

In the mobile app, employers can currently:

  • Run regular payroll
  • Run different types of off-cycle payroll
  • Manage your team
  • Manage your company
  • Customer service support

Upcoming features 

By the end of 2025, employers will also have access to the following functions in the app. In the meantime, you can still manage all aspects of your Gusto account in your web browser. Here's what is coming soon:

  • Pay contractors
  • Time tracking approval
  • Time off approval
  • Expense approval
  • Payroll blockers
  • Insights and reporting

Here’s how to contact Gusto from your Gusto mobile app:

  1. In the top-right corner of the screen, tap the person icon.
  2. Scroll down and select Help. 
  3. Choose Contact us.

If you need help while you're in the Run payroll section of the mobile app, tap Get help in the top-right corner of your screen. You’ll be directed to an FAQ page—scroll down and tap Contact us.
