Admins must give their team access to their Gusto profiles by adding their emails in their Gusto profile—team members will not be able to sign in to Gusto until you do. We recommend using their personal email addresses, so they'll have access to their pay records even after they've left the company.

US employees can view their paystubs, get year-end W-2 forms, and update their personal information in Gusto once they've set up their account. Employees can access their account even if they're no longer with the company.
When you originally onboard your employees in Gusto, you give them online access by adding their personal email addresses. If you didn't add their email, follow the steps to give them access to Gusto after the fact.
The steps below work for both active and dismissed employees.

If it can't be found or was deleted, have the employee click Reset Password on the main Gusto log in page and another email will be sent for them to access their account.
