A company admin needs to set up a Gusto account for you. They enter the email you’ll use to sign in. If you didn’t get the welcome email from Gusto, they might be able to send it again.
Ask your employer what personal email they have listed for you in Gusto. If it's an old or wrong email, ask them to update it to your current one. This way, you can access your Gusto pay records, even after leaving the company.
If you cannot contact the company to find out your email:
Once you know your Gusto email, you’ll just need your password (or you can reset it) and access to your 2-step verification codes.
If you've been paid through Gusto, you can still access your Gusto profile and pay records (like tax documents) even after you leave a company.
Once an employer adds a personal email address in Gusto for you:

Once you've linked your Google account, you can use it to sign in to Gusto.
This will automatically sign you in to your Gusto account.
You cannot link multiple Google accounts to your Gusto account—if you accidentally linked the wrong account, or need to change it, remove your current Google account, then add the correct one.
What sign-in requirement is giving you trouble?
If that email is connected to a Gusto profile, we'll send the password reset email. If you do not see it immediately:
If you never get the email, you may need to double-check that you're entering the email that we have listed in Gusto.
If you're unsure which email is being used, you have a few options to find out. You need to know the email before you can reset your password (unless you know it).
If 2-step verification codes cannot be entered (for any reason), we'll have to verify who you are using a different method:
If we cannot verify who you are using 2-step verification codes or Persona verification, you'll need to call us during our office hours for help:
When your password is entered incorrectly too many times, your account will lock.
