This article is for employees, US contractors, and managers. The real-time feedback feature is available for companies on Plus and Premium plans. If you think your company should have access to this feature, but you cannot access it, reach out to your admin. They can upgrade the plan at any time.
Our real-time feedback feature lets you and your team request and give feedback to each other at any time.
Real-time feedback works differently depending on your role. Here’s what each role can do:
Request feedback.
As an employee or US contractor, you can request feedback from any other employee or US contractor at your company.
At this time, non-US contractors cannot request or get feedback.
Feedback cannot be anonymous.
Managers can request feedback for themselves or their direct reports.
Admins can request feedback for any employee, US contractor, or manager at the company.
Track feedback.
Employees and US contractors can view the feedback they give and receive.
Managers can view the feedback their direct reports give and receive.
Admins can view all feedback given or received at the company.
View feedback when completing performance reviews
When filling out a self-evaluation, you can view the feedback you received.
If someone writes a review about you, they can also view the feedback you received while writing their review.
You can request feedback for yourself. If you’re a manager, you can also request feedback for your direct reports.
To request feedback:
Go to Performance.
To the right of Feedback, click Go to dashboard.
Click Request feedback.
Choose who you would like feedback from. You can select multiple people.
Select who the feedback is for: you or one of your direct reports (if you’re a manager).
Specify what you’d like feedback about.
An admin may have set up a custom suggested prompt. You can use it, or write your own question.
Click Request feedback.
Delete a feedback request
To delete a feedback request:
Go to Performance.
To the right of Feedback, click Go to dashboard.
Click the trash can icon next to the request.
You cannot delete feedback requests your manager made.
When someone requests feedback from you, you’ll find it under Pending on your Feedback dashboard.
To respond to a feedback request:
Go to Performance.
From the Feedback dashboard, click Pending to find feedback requests awaiting your response.
Next to the request you’d like to respond to, click Respond.
Fill out your response.
Click Send feedback.
You can view the feedback you received or gave at any time. If you’re a manager, you can also view feedback activity for your direct reports.
To view feedback:
Go to Performance.
To the right of Feedback, click Go to dashboard.
From the Received tab, you can view the:
Feedback you received
Feedback you’re still waiting to receive
From the Given tab, you can view the:
Feedback you gave
Feedback you still need to give
If you’re a manager, toggle to the My team tab to view feedback activity for your direct reports. Use the Actions menu to view individual feedback.
When you fill out a review as a reviewer/manager or a self-evaluation as an employee, click View goals and feedback on the right side of the page.
You’ll find a list of the feedback received.
