Sign-in issues

Employers must give you access before you can set up, complete, and access your Gusto profile—reach out to your current, or previous employer, to confirm which email they added to your Gusto profile if you're not sure. In some cases, they can also resend the welcome email if you haven't started onboarding yet.

  1. Head to the sign-in page.
    • Reminder: If this is your first time signing in, employers must give you access before you can set up, complete, and access your Gusto profile—reach out to your current, or previous employer, to confirm which email they added to your Gusto profile if you're not sure. 
  2. Click the Having trouble signing in? link. Or, you can click here.
  3. Let us know what the issue is:
    • I forgot my password.
    • I forgot my email address.
    • I cannot get my 2-step verification codes
    • I have a different login issue—use this if you cannot access your account at all.
  4. Follow the remaining prompts.
